Description: PAYMENT Fees on all auctions are 12% + $1.00 per lot.
All items purchased on or before Monday at 11:59 pm must be paid for within 48 hours of auction close. If an item is not paid for by the payment deadline and no contact has been made, Mega Savers will assume the purchase as valid and charge the payment to the member's card on file on Thursday by 4 pm without prior notification. Please ensure your credit card on file is the card you want charged accordingly.
If you have won an auction item that you no longer wish to buy (buyer's remorse), we do allow members to cancel their purchase(s) by paying a restocking fee for each lot they want to be cancelled (unless stated otherwise in listing comments). This fee is 10% (minimum $15 charge) of the sale price of the item(s) being restocked, plus taxes. This fee must be received, and our staff must acknowledge its receipt before the payment deadline passes.
Taxes
All items sold by Mega Savers are subject to tax legislation pursuant to tax laws of Alberta and other Canadian provinces. All taxable items picked up at our Edmonton warehouse will be charged GST. All taxable items that are shipped to the customer will be charged taxes according to their destination as per provincial and federal tax laws.
